You can easily check the status of your iPhone by following these steps:

1. Dial *#06# on your phone to get its 15-digit IMEI number.

2. Send the IMEI number in a text message to 8484.

3. You will get a reply saying whether your device is:

   • Compliant (Approved)

   • Non-compliant (Unapproved)

   • Blocked (Stolen device)

How to Register Your iPhone 16 Pro Max with PTA

If your device is unapproved, follow these steps:

1. Go to the PTA DIRBS Portal.

2. Click on Sign Up and enter your personal details.

3. You will receive a verification link on your email or phone – activate your account.

4. Log in with your email and password.

5. Select “Registration of Mobile Device for Duty and Taxes”.

6. Choose your user type and mobile operator.

7. Enter your IMEI number and submit the details.

8. The portal will show you the duty/tax amount.

9. Pay the tax to complete your iPhone registration.

PTA Charges for iPhone 16 Pro Max

According to Bank Alfalah, the PTA approval fee for an iPhone 16 Pro Max is Rs. 175,399.
