UAE Commander Lauds Pakistan Navy’s Efforts for Maritime Security
Islamabad – Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Naval Forces, Major General Staff Humaid Mohammed Abdullah Al Remeithi, met with Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.
On arrival, the distinguished guest was warmly received by the Naval Chief, and a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Navy presented a Guard of Honour.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation, and avenues for further bilateral cooperation.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted Pakistan Navy’s efforts for regional peace and stability through Regional Maritime Security Patrols. The UAE Naval Commander appreciated these contributions, acknowledging Pakistan’s important role in maritime security.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening defence cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE. The visit of the UAE Naval Commander is expected to give a fresh boost to bilateral relations, particularly in the field of defence and military cooperation.
