Skardu Magistrate Ensures Justice for Security Worker
Skardu: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Skardu, Ehsan-ul-Haq, took action against Wah Guns Security Services Pvt. Ltd., Islamabad after a local guard complained of unpaid salaries.
Ghulam Rasool, son of Muhammad from Zhey Thang, Skardu, filed an application stating that he had been working as a security guard at PTV Skardu through the company but had not received his salary for several months.
The magistrate issued a notice to the company’s manager. During the hearing, the representative of Wah Guns Security Services was directed to pay all outstanding dues to the complainant before the next hearing. The magistrate warned that failure to pay would lead to the company’s suspension in the Baltistan Division.
On the scheduled date, the company’s representative submitted Rs. 187,500 in court. The amount was handed over to Ghulam Rasool with an official receipt. The magistrate also instructed that the guard’s job must not be terminated because of his complaint; otherwise, further legal action would be taken against the company.
Ghulam Rasool expressed gratitude to the Assistant Commissioner of Skardu for ensuring payment of his dues and safeguarding his employment.
