PCB Files Complaint Against Indian Bowler Arshdeep Singh With ICC for Inappropriate Gestures
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged a new complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC), this time targeting Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, following a previous case against Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav.
Sources confirmed that the PCB submitted a formal request to the ICC, seeking disciplinary action against Singh for allegedly making obscene gestures at the end of the September 21 match.
The complaint stated that Arshdeep’s conduct represented a clear violation of the ICC Code of Conduct. It further highlighted that Singh directed inappropriate gestures toward spectators, an action that reportedly harmed the spirit and reputation of the game.
The PCB has demanded strict action against Singh, stressing that such behavior should not go unpunished.
This complaint comes shortly after the PCB filed a separate case against Suryakumar Yadav, accusing the Indian captain of making political remarks during a post-match press conference, remarks that Pakistan claimed undermined the credibility of cricket.
