Karachi Braces for Another Hot, Humid Day with Rain Expected Tonight

Karachi – The city continues to experience extremely hot and humid weather, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasting light to moderate rain in the evening and night.

According to the PMD, sea breeze in Karachi remains completely suspended, which has added to the heat and humidity being felt across the city.

At present, the temperature in Karachi is recorded at 27°C, but due to high humidity, it feels more like 33°C. Winds are currently blowing from the northwest at a speed of 6 kilometers per hour. The Met Office has confirmed that the heatwave is still ongoing in Karachi and is contributing to overall discomfort.

Rain is also expected in surrounding districts, including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Sujawal, and Sanghar. Weather experts say that today will remain hot and extremely humid, but rainfall later in the day may provide temporary relief for the residents.
