Shehbaz Sharif Awarded Honorary PhD in Malaysia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been awarded an honorary PhD degree in Leadership and Governance by the International Islamic University of Malaysia. The degree was conferred by the Queen of the Malaysian state of Pahang during a special ceremony at the university.

In his speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed that it was a great honor to be associated with such a prestigious institution in the Muslim world. He highlighted his more than four decades of public service, especially his commitment to serving the people of Punjab with sincerity and dedication.

The Prime Minister praised the university for promoting higher education that blends faith and ethics. He also expressed hope that the relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia would grow stronger in the future through greater alliance, brotherhood, and cooperation.

Shehbaz Sharif prayed for unity, progress, and prosperity for both Pakistan and Malaysia. He thanked the university’s president, chancellor, director, minister of education, and students, and expressed his desire to enhance academic collaboration between the two countries.
