Arslan Ash Breaks Record with 7th EVO Win in Tekken

Paris:  Pakistan’s esports star Arslan “Arslan Ash” Siddique has made history once again by winning EVO France 2025, securing his seventh EVO title—the most ever by any Tekken player.

Arslan fought through a tough bracket of over 1,100 players in the Tekken 8 tournament. After an early loss, he made a stunning comeback from the lower bracket, defeating top players including Qudans (South Korea), KingReyJr (USA), and Fergus (Ireland).

In the Grand Final, he faced Jeon “JeonDDing” Sang-hyun from South Korea, who was undefeated until then. Arslan won the first set 3–1 to reset the bracket and then edged out the second set 3–2 to take the championship.

Representing Twisted Minds Esports, Arslan used Nina and Anna with flawless skill, showing why he is widely considered the greatest Tekken player of all time. With this victory, he becomes the only Tekken player to win EVO titles across Asia, North America, and Europe.

Arslan also took home the €7,400 top prize, but his win means far more than money. His success continues to inspire the rising esports scene in Pakistan, proving that world-class talent can come from anywhere.
