The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a cut in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), bringing relief to consumers.

According to the latest notification, effective from November 1, the price of LPG has been reduced by Rs5.88 per kilogram. After this decrease, the price of a domestic 11.8 kg cylinder has dropped by Rs69.44.

The new price of an LPG cylinder is now Rs2,378.89, while the per-kilogram price stands at Rs201.60.

Last month, OGRA had also reduced LPG prices by Rs79.14, setting the domestic cylinder at Rs2,448.33.

These back-to-back reductions are expected to provide some relief to households using LPG for cooking and heating purposes, especially as winter approaches.
