NADRA introduces easy online process for B-Form registration
NADRA has launched a simplified online process for obtaining the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), also called the B-Form. This update makes it easier for parents, especially those with newborns, to register their child without visiting a NADRA office. With the Pak ID Mobile App, millions of families can now complete the entire process from home.
What Is the B-Form (CRC)?
The Child Registration Certificate (CRC), or B-Form, is the first official identity document for a child in Pakistan. It contains the child’s personal details and records their entry into the national identity system managed by NADRA.
A B-Form is required for:
-
School admission
-
Passport application
-
CNIC issuance at age 18
-
Government benefits and family registration
Who Can Apply?
Parents or legal guardians can apply for a child’s B-Form. At least one parent must have a valid CNIC or NICOP, and a birth certificate issued by the Union Council (or relevant authority abroad) is required for verification.
Eligibility Documents for B-Form Registration
Before applying, make sure you have:
-
Birth Certificate: Issued by Union Council (Pakistan) or relevant authority abroad
-
Parent’s CNIC/NICOP: At least one parent must have a valid ID
-
Child’s Photograph: Required for online applications
-
Legal Guardian Proof (if applicable): Guardianship certificate
How to Apply Online (For Children Up to One Year Old)
Parents can now register children up to 12 months old online through the Pak ID Mobile App, without visiting a NADRA office.
