Gold price rises by Rs2,300 per tola in Pakistan – check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan went up again on Wednesday, following the upward trend seen in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold reached Rs438,862 per tola, showing an increase of Rs2,300 during the day. The price of 10-gram gold also rose and was sold at Rs376,253 after gaining Rs1,972, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier, on Tuesday, gold had already jumped by Rs7,700, bringing the per-tola price to Rs436,562.

In the global market, the price of gold increased by $23, reaching $4,165 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Silver prices also went up in the local market. The per-tola price of silver rose by Rs60, reaching Rs5,482.
