YouTuber Ducky Bhai released from Lahore Jail

26 November, 2025 17:52

YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has been released from Lahore’s Camp Jail after the court reviewed his bail documents and confirmed all requirements were met.

Earlier, a local court in Lahore had ordered his immediate release. Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo issued the warrant, directing that Ducky Bhai be released immediately if he is not involved in any other case.

Ducky Bhai faces allegations of illegally promoting a gambling application, a case filed by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). He was arrested at Lahore Airport on August 17. Authorities claim he used his online platform to endorse the app, prompting a criminal investigation.

Before this, the Lahore High Court had already granted him bail. The district court’s release warrant finalized the necessary steps for his release. Court officials confirmed that all bail bonds were fully checked before issuing the order.

With the warrant now issued, Ducky Bhai is expected to walk free, unless law enforcement finds any additional pending cases. The NCCIA’s investigation into the gambling app allegations continues.

His release was delayed a day earlier because the court’s allocated time for processing the order had expired. Ducky Bhai’s lawyer, Barrister Amrit Sheikh, explained that verifying and processing the release takes time. He said, “We made every effort today, but the release order could not be finalized.”

After completing all procedural formalities, Ducky Bhai is now out of jail, marking an important step in his ongoing legal proceedings.
