Estevao William Shines in Chelsea’s 3-0 Win Over Barcelona

Chelsea’s teenage sensation Estevao William is enjoying what he called a “perfect night” after scoring a brilliant solo goal in the team’s 3-0 Champions League win over Barcelona on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old Brazilian forward, who joined Stamford Bridge this summer, became the star of the match when he scored Chelsea’s second goal in the second half. His strike added to a strong performance by the Blues against a 10-man Barcelona side. The win was completed with a Jules Kounde own goal and a late finish from Liam Delap.

The solo goal has already been called the best moment of Estevao’s young career. After the match, he was full of emotion and said, “I don’t really have any words to sum up how I’m feeling right now. It really was the perfect night.”

This goal was his third in three Champions League starts, making him one of only three teenagers to achieve this milestone, along with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. He also thanked the fans and his family who were watching from the stands.

Estevao said, “It was all very quick for me, it sort of happened before I knew it. I just found some space, wiggled my way through and then scored that goal. It was such a special moment for me in my career.”

He added, “From the moment I arrived here, I felt such a connection with the fans. I’m just so happy that I could score for them and make them happy. I hope to keep making them happy and score more goals for them.”

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca also praised Estevao, saying he played a key role in the team’s pressing strategy. With this win, Chelsea move closer to the top of the league phase standings and continue to prove themselves as one of the strongest contenders in the tournament.
