Why Sofik SK and Dustu Sonali are accusing a friend over leaked video

A private video of social media influencers Sofik SK and Dustu Sonali has sparked a major controversy online. Both of them shared videos on their personal Instagram accounts explaining the situation and blaming a friend for leaking the video.

Who is Sofik SK?

Sofik SK is a Bengali content creator with a large social media following, having over 5 lakh followers. Most of his content features him lip-syncing or dancing, often alongside his partner, Dustu Sonali. He has shared nearly 45 videos on the platform.

Who is Dustu Sonali?

Dustu Sonali calls herself an “artist” on Instagram. She has around 312,000 followers and has shared 130 posts. She often appears in videos with Sofik SK.

Couple Blames Friend for the Leak
Sofik and Dustu said that a friend they trusted leaked the private video. They explained that it was a private moment between them, and both apologized for the leak.

Dustu added that she has reported the friend to the cybercrime unit and other authorities. She also warned that she would take legal action against his family if the situation worsens. She shared that the leak has made it difficult for her to go outside and has severely affected her life.

Sofik SK said, “Even I didn’t have this video. My girlfriend had it. We trusted a friend with our phones, who knew our passwords. He took the video and used it to blackmail us. When I stopped contact, he posted it online. I considered him like a brother, but he betrayed that trust.”
