Dr. Jamal Beker Abdullah Presents Credentials as Ethiopia’s New Ambassador to the UAE

Dr. Jamal Beker Abdullah, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the United Arab Emirates, presented his Letters of Credence to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in a dignified ceremony held at the majestic Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace.

In a warm and gracious meeting, Ambassador Dr. Jamal Beker Abdullah conveyed the fraternal greetings and best wishes of H.E. President Taye Atske Selassie and H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali to His Highness the President, the Government, and the brotherly people of the UAE.

On this auspicious occasion, just ahead of the UAE’s 54th National Day, the Ambassador extended heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes for continued peace, prosperity, and progress to the nation and its leadership.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the Ambassador with warmth and reaffirmed the UAE’s strong commitment to its strategic partnership with Ethiopia. He also expressed continued support for Ethiopia’s development journey and its vital role in advancing regional peace and integration.

Ambassador Dr. Jamal Beker Abdullah said he was deeply humbled by the gracious welcome and honoured to officially begin his tenure in the UAE. He reaffirmed his commitment to elevating the historic and brotherly ties between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates to even greater heights.
