New facility for Pakistani passport applicants – Check fee updates
Authorities have made the online passport application process simpler with a new update for fingerprint verification. Applicants can now complete the entire process online without visiting passport offices.
A new efficient fingerprint verification system has been launched to provide more convenience for citizens.
Passport Fingerprint Verification
Previously, passport applicants faced difficulties with fingerprint verification. Now, in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the system has been integrated into the Pak ID app, allowing applicants to verify their fingerprints remotely from home.
Fingerprints will be verified directly through NADRA’s database via the app, removing the need to visit passport offices. This update will speed up passport processing, increase transparency, save time, and reduce costs for applicants.
