Security Forces Eliminate 11 Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in North Waziristan and Kurram
At least 11 khwarij linked to Indian proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations carried out by Pakistani security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to official sources.
Operation in North Waziristan
Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan district following reports of khwarij presence in the area. During the operation, troops effectively engaged the hideout.
After a heavy exchange of fire, six khwarij were killed. Security personnel remained safe during the operation.
Joint Operation in Kurram District
In a separate joint operation, police and security forces acted on intelligence in Kurram district. During the encounter, five more khwarij were neutralized after a gun battle.
Weapons Recovered
Security forces recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition from the killed militants. Officials said the khwarij were actively involved in terrorist attacks, including assaults on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and target killings of innocent civilians.
Sanitization Operations Underway
Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants in the area. Officials reaffirmed that Pakistan’s counter-terrorism campaign under “Azm-e-Istehkam” will continue at full pace.
The campaign, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, aims to completely eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
