Several People Still Missing After Gul Plaza Blaze
Karachi: Several people are still missing after a fire broke out at Gul Plaza on MA Jinnah Road last night.
The families of the missing people are busy searching for their loved ones in various hospitals. The families of the missing people say that they were in contact until night, but now the phones are switched off.
A large number of families of the victims were also present outside the Civil Hospital’s Burns Center. According to the family, there are fears that many people are still inside the building.
It should be noted that even after several hours, the fire could not be brought under control, and some parts of Gul Plaza collapsed due to the intensity of the fire.
A fire broke out on the ground floor of Gul Plaza at around 10:15 pm on Saturday night and quickly spread to the third floor.
Rescue sources said that six people, including a firefighter, died in the fire, while 20 people were injured and shifted to the hospital. Their condition is said to be critical.
Four of the deceased have been identified as Faraz, Kashif, Aamir, and Shahroz, while according to officials, the body of a firefighter named Furqan was also brought to the Tramam Center.
