Govinda Says Sunita Ahuja ‘Suffocates’ Him, Alleges Conspiracy

Amid rumours surrounding Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, the actor has finally spoken out for the first time. After Sunita Ahuja accused Govinda of having an affair with a younger woman and alleged that he did not help his son Yashvardhan Ahuja in his career, the actor reacted strongly to the claims. Govinda alleged that Sunita is being used as part of a conspiracy against him and requested his family members to “not suffocate” him with their statements in the press.

Govinda Responds to Sunita’s Allegations

When asked about Sunita’s statement urging him to ‘improve himself,’ the actor told ANI, ‘How many times have I been married? It’s been 40 years. Have I married two or three times? Those who have married many times, their wives don’t say anything, and they go on living their lives freely. People in the film industry don’t usually discuss these matters publicly. I have rarely seen anyone completely spotless in this industry. However, when you feel cornered, you start thinking about how to get out of it.’

In the same interview, Govinda stated that at times, families can become the target of a carefully planned conspiracy. He added that for years, friends have warned him that someone might be plotting against him. While he initially attributed the events to his stars and his belief in spirituality, the persistent nature of these issues eventually made him realize that there was a deliberate plan against him. Govinda said:

‘A friend of mine had told me that there has been a conspiracy against you for a very long time. I kept quiet for over 15 years, thinking it must be my stars. I believe in prayers and spirituality. But when these things stay forever, it means someone is doing it to you. Sometimes, the family comes under the influence of someone’s well-planned conspiracy. Not everyone is Govinda.’

‘People Are Using My Nephew Krushna Abhishek to Insult Me’

Govinda claimed that his wife and nephew, comedian Krushna Abhishek, are being used to target him as part of a larger plot.

‘Even if you watch Krushna Abhishek’s TV programmes, you will notice how writers make him say things that insult me. I told him that he is being used to insult me and advised him to be cautious. When I warned Krushna, Sunita would get upset. I don’t know when these people are upset with each other and when they are okay. I am more of a steady person,’ he said.

Explaining why he does not assist his children in building connections in the film industry, Govinda said, ‘I am doing work according to my aukat (ability). I don’t discuss my kids with producers and directors. The industry is my family; I have earned money and fame from it, which is why I don’t want to put a black spot on it.’

He further added, ‘You have to be alert in this industry because these conversations don’t happen randomly. There is some conspiracy going on, and people are trying to create notions about me.’
