Pakistan Prolongs Closure of Airspace for Indian Flights

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) officially extending the closure of its airspace to Indian aircraft. According to a PAA spokesperson, this ban will now remain in effect until 5:00 AM on February 24.

Scope of the Flight Restrictions

The spokesperson clarified that the closure is comprehensive, applying to all aircraft owned, operated, or leased by Indian airlines. Additionally, the restriction extends to all Indian military flights, maintaining the current suspension of transit through Pakistani territory for these categories.
