Jamie Linden completed his schooling at Lake Howell High School before graduating from Florida State University. The production house has been behind several well-known films, including Sense and Sensibility and Cold Mountain.

Before establishing himself as a screenwriter, Linden had an unexpected television appearance. After graduating in 2001, he participated in The Price Is Right, where he was selected from the audience and won $5,000, a prize that helped him stay in California while pursuing his Hollywood ambitions.

Linden later caught the attention of Warner Bros. Pictures. Although his first acquired script was not produced, the studio continued working with him, leading to the release of We Are Marshall in 2006. He not only wrote the screenplay but also served as a co-producer on the biographical sports drama.

His writing credits expanded with projects such as Dear John (2010), 10 Years (2011), Money Monster (2016), and script rewrites for Chaos Walking (2021).
