Emirates ID replacement fee for Pakistanis after loss - Feb 2026
DUBAI: The Emirates ID is an official identity card issued by the UAE government. It is given to all UAE citizens and residents, including Pakistani nationals living in the country for work or business.
Carrying the Emirates ID is mandatory in the UAE. All residents and citizens must apply for it and keep it with them at all times. If the Emirates ID is lost or stolen, it is important to act quickly and apply for a replacement.
If a Pakistani citizen loses their Emirates ID, they should immediately visit the nearest ICP Customer Happiness Centre and report the loss. This step is necessary so the lost or stolen card can be deactivated. If the applicant does not have their ID number, they can request confirmation or a copy from the ICP.
To apply for a replacement, expatriate residents must bring their original passport with a valid residency visa stamp.
After reporting the loss, the applicant can fill out a replacement form at any ICP Customer Happiness Centre or apply through the UAE ICP mobile app, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
The basic fee for replacing a lost Emirates ID is AED 300. Additional charges include AED 70 if applying through a typing centre or AED 40 if applying online through the eForm. Those who want faster service can choose the express replacement option by paying an extra AED 150.
