Security Forces Eliminate 24 Indian-Sponsored Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ISPR

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that Pakistan’s security forces killed 24 khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij during two separate intelligence-based operations carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on 4 and 5 February 2026.

According to ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Orakzai District after reports of the presence of khwarij in the area. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout, and after an intense exchange of fire, 14 khwarij were eliminated.

In another successful intelligence-based operation in Khyber District, security forces once again engaged the terrorists. As a result of the ensuing firefight, 10 more khwarij were effectively neutralised.

ISPR stated that sanitisation operations are currently underway in both areas to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining Indian-sponsored khwarij. The statement added that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to their relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

The military’s media wing reiterated that the security forces, in coordination with law enforcement agencies, will continue their full-scale efforts to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country and to ensure lasting peace and stability in Pakistan.
