How to Get Rs10,000 Without Ration Card

The Punjab government has simplified the process for eligible families to receive Rs10,000 under the Social Security Program, removing the requirement for a ration card, officials said.

The initiative, guided by Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aims to provide financial support to low- and middle-income families during Ramadan. The Chief Minister confirmed that aid has already been transferred to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries, and the removal of the ration card requirement this year ensures wider access to the funds.

How to Receive the Money:

• Ensure you are registered under the Punjab Social Security Scheme and have received a withdrawal message from the Bank of Punjab.
• Carry your original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
• Provide the mobile number registered with the scheme to the bank representative or agent.
• Show the 6-digit verification code received from the bank to the agent to complete verification.
• Visit a nearby HBL Konnect“], UBL Omni financial service”], or Alfa Pay agent to collect the money.
• Complete biometric verification (thumbprint) with the agent; the cash will be handed over and a confirmation message sent to your mobile phone.

Officials cautioned citizens: “Do not share your PIN or any confidential information with strangers” to prevent fraud.

This streamlined process is intended to ensure timely and secure financial assistance reaches more families across Punjab during the holy month.
