Sindh Announces Public Holiday for Educational Institutions on Youm-e-Ali

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday for educational institutions across the province in observance of Youm-e-Hazrat Ali (RA).

According to the provincial education department, all schools and colleges throughout Sindh will remain closed on Wednesday, 21st Ramadan, which falls on March 11, 2026.

The education department has also advised parents and students to plan their academic schedules accordingly and ensure that students spend the holiday in a safe environment.

The holiday will allow students and staff to take part in special gatherings, commemorative events, and religious programs held to mark Youm-e-Hazrat Ali (RA).
