Sindh Government to Release March Salaries and Pensions Early for Eid ul Fitr

In a bid to provide timely financial support ahead of Eid ul Fitr, the Sindh government has decided to disburse March salaries, allowances, and pensions earlier than usual for Muslim employees and pensioners.

According to a letter from the Sindh Finance Department, all Muslim government employees and pensioners, including those working in work-charged and contingent paid positions, will receive their full pay, allowances, and pensions on March 16, 2026. This early payment is being made well ahead of the standard release date of April 1.

The decision comes as Eid ul Fitr is anticipated to fall on March 20 or 21, depending on the sighting of the Shawwal moon. By releasing the payments in advance, the provincial government aims to ensure that its Muslim employees and pensioners have their financial dues in hand before the festive occasion.

This move is expected to provide much-needed financial relief for families as they prepare for the celebrations.
