The UAE has heightened its emergency preparedness as forecasts predict varied rainfall across different parts of the country in the coming days.
The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the National Centre of Meteorology, and other partners, convened a joint meeting to evaluate the potential impacts of the expected weather conditions.
Officials reviewed the latest atmospheric developments and outlined response strategies to ensure “readiness for any emergencies arising from the anticipated changes.”
Authorities warned that rainfall of varying intensity is expected in some areas, accompanied by a drop in temperatures. The forecast also predicts increased wind activity, with dust and sand likely to reduce visibility in certain regions.
Relevant agencies have intensified monitoring of weather patterns and movement, urging the public to stay updated through official channels. These proactive measures aim to enhance public safety and minimise potential disruptions caused by the upcoming weather conditions.
