Fourth Pakistani Killed in UAE by Missile Debris Amid Regional Tensions

26 March, 2026 22:50

The fourth Pakistani national has been killed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during the recent missile escalation, officials confirmed Thursday, with arrangements underway to repatriate his body to Pakistan for burial.

The incident occurred on Sweihan Street, a mixed residential and industrial area in northeastern Abu Dhabi, after debris fell following the interception of a ballistic missile by air defence systems, authorities said.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi stated it is coordinating closely with UAE authorities to support the bereaved family and facilitate repatriation.

UAE authorities also confirmed that an Indian national was killed and three others — including Emirati, Jordanian, and Indian citizens — sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

Earlier incidents in Dubai and other areas of Abu Dhabi have claimed the lives of three Pakistani nationals, bringing the total fatalities among Pakistanis to four amid ongoing regional tensions involving Iran.
