Pakistan Envoy Faisal Tirmizi Joins Diplomatic Visit to Arctic Russia

Mascow: Ambassador of Pakistan to Russia, H.E. Mr Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, along with a group of foreign heads of mission, took part in an introductory tour of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region, organized by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The visit featured a meeting with Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region, Dmitry Artyukhov.

During the trip, the Ambassador traveled to Salekhard, the only city in the world located directly on the Arctic Circle, and to Russia’s “gas capital,” Novy Urengoy.

There, he toured Gazprom facilities and participated in the traditional Reindeer Herder’s Day celebrations.
