Strong Earthquake Tremors Shake Islamabad, Peshawar, and Other Cities

Earthquake tremors were felt in various cities including the federal capital Islamabad and Peshawar.

Earthquake tremors were felt in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Azad Kashmir. Earthquake tremors were felt in Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Diamer, Rawalpindi, Murree, Taxila and Hassan Abdal.

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Lower Dir, Kohat, Swat, Swabi, Shabqadar and Parachinar. According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 6.1 and the depth was 190 kilometers, while the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.

Due to the earthquake, citizens came out of their homes reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
