Toaster Trailer Out: Rajkummar Rao’s Miser Avatar Draws Mixed Reactions Ahead of Netflix Release

The trailer of Toaster, starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, has been released, offering a glimpse into an unconventional comedy filled with chaos and everyday struggles. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 15.

Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary and produced by Patralekhaa under Kampa Film, the story revolves around a miserly man whose obsession with saving money begins to strain his marriage.

Rajkummar Rao plays Ramakant, a man who carefully tracks every rupee spent, much to the frustration of his wife, portrayed by Sanya Malhotra. The narrative takes a bizarre turn when a simple toaster, purchased as a wedding gift, becomes the center of unexpected chaos, triggering a citywide chase.

The film also features a notable supporting cast including Archana Puran Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Farah Khan, Upendra Limaye, Jitendra Joshi, and Seema Pahwa.

Despite its unique storyline, the trailer has received mixed reactions from viewers. While some praised the unusual concept, others criticized the humor and described the plot as repetitive.
