Petrol prices may drop by Rs30–60 per liter in Pakistan

The federal government is considering reducing petrol and other petroleum product prices by Rs30 to Rs60 per liter. This comes after a drop in global oil prices.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued special instructions to pass the benefit of lower international oil prices to the public.

According to sources, the Ministry of Finance, Petroleum, and other relevant departments have started reviewing the situation.

A decision on the new local petrol prices is expected in the next two days after monitoring the market closely.
