‘Euphoria 3’, Angus Cloud’s ‘Fez’ Isn’t Written Off The Series, How Much Did He Earn Before Death?

The much-awaited Euphoria Season 3 finally premiered on April 12, 2026, after a long break. The new season continues the story with a five-year time jump and brings back major characters in new situations.

One of the biggest talking points is the continued presence of “Fezco,” played by late actor Angus Cloud, who passed away in 2023. Despite his death, the character has not been completely removed from the storyline, which surprised many fans.

The show explains Fez’s situation by placing him in prison after the events of Season 2. In the new season, it is revealed that he is serving a long prison sentence. His character is still referenced by other characters, keeping his presence alive in the story without removing him from the narrative entirely.

In earlier seasons, Fez was shown as a drug dealer with a close connection to Rue Bennett, played by Zendaya. His storyline was left unresolved at the end of Season 2 when he was arrested during a police raid.

After Angus Cloud’s sudden death in 2023, fans expected the character to be written out completely. However, the writers chose to continue mentioning him in a way that respects the storyline while acknowledging his absence.

Before his passing, Angus Cloud became widely known for his breakout role in Euphoria. He was reportedly discovered by chance while walking in Manhattan, which led him to audition for the series. His performance as Fez quickly made him a fan favorite.

Reports estimate that Angus Cloud earned around 10,000 USD to 23,000 USD per episode during his time on the show. His rising popularity also contributed to his estimated net worth of around 5 million USD at the time of his death.

Angus Cloud passed away in 2023 due to a drug overdose, according to reports. His family also shared that he had been emotionally affected by the death of his father, which deeply impacted him.

The decision to keep Fez’s character in the story through prison references has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with many appreciating the tribute while others expected a full rewrite.
