Afghan Taliban Regime Cowardly Attack on Civilians in Angoor Adda, South Waziristan

Afghan Taliban regime once again carried out a cowardly attack on civilian population in the South Waziristan border area of Angoor Adda.

Security sources stated that Afghan Taliban and affiliated militants continue to target innocent civilians to achieve their malicious objectives.

Security sources further reported that on 29 April 2026, mortar shells were fired once again from the Afghan side towards the border area adjacent to Angoor Adda in South Waziristan.

The mortar shell landed directly on the house of local residents Karim Khan and Rahmatullah, resulting in injuries to five members of the same family.

Security sources confirmed that “a total of five injured individuals, including three children, were brought to the hospital,” according to Medical Officer Dr. Ashfaq.

Victim Noor Ali stated that the shell suddenly landed on their house, causing a powerful explosion.

Another affected resident said the blast was so intense that the entire house shook violently.

Local residents reported that civilians, especially children, are continuously being targeted in cross-border shelling, creating an atmosphere of fear in the area.

Authorities added that repeated attacks on civilian populations clearly show that such elements have no connection with humanity.
