Karachi Heatwave Alert: Temperature Expected to Reach 41°C as Severe Heat Continues

Karachi is currently experiencing a severe heatwave, with extreme temperatures affecting daily life across the city. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the temperature in Karachi may rise up to 41°C today.

Officials have stated that during the daytime, the intensity of heat could feel between 45°C and 47°C due to humidity and weather conditions. The ongoing heatwave is expected to continue throughout the day, making outdoor conditions extremely harsh for residents.

The weather department further confirmed that the current spell of intense heat will persist today, but relief is expected from tomorrow as temperatures are likely to return to normal levels.

Authorities have advised citizens to take precautionary measures during peak hours, avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight, and stay hydrated due to the extreme weather conditions.
