FBI Director Kash Patel Gift Controversy

An evidence based report from The Atlantic has dropped a bomb on the Federal Bureau of Investigation in US which gives detail of allegations of erratic behaviour and the distribution of personalized liquor by FBI Director Kash Patel. Patel was reported to give away bottles of “Woodford Reserve bourbon” engraved with “Kash Patel FBI Director,” an FBI shield, and his nickname spelled as “Ka$h.” These bottles have been gifted to both FBI staff and civilians, Including events in Las Vegas and other places.
During a training seminar at FBI’s Quantico Facility on eof the engraved bottle was lost allegedly stolen as said by Kash Patel. He accused the FBI agents of stealing and fixing him up in a false case as well. The people present at the training were surprised and expressed that the FBI Director seemed senseless.
One of the senior agent claimed the episode as a “ShitShow” He also added that Patel was seen enjoying with the same bottles with the US Olympics hockey team.
Struggling part was to wake him due to apparent intoxication by the security team present at the scene; in one instance, officials requested SWAT-style breaching tools to reach Patel behind a locked door when he could not be reached, he was nearly fainted and murmuring about his failures in the FBI.
The FBI claims the gifting is within the ethics code and part of a decade-old tradition though former officials say a Director handing out booze is unheard of in the near past.
Patel stated suing “The Atlantic” over the reporting on his drinking habits, and the FBI has reportedly opened an investigation into the reporter, Sarah Fitzpatrick, following her coverage. Additionally, his alleged behavior has led some FBI officials to grow concerned about the future of FBI and investigations.
