Trump Warns of More Iran Strikes if Nuclear Deal Is Not Signed Quickly
US President Donald Trump has warned Iran of stronger military action if Tehran does not quickly agree to a deal with Washington.
In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform on Thursday, Trump claimed that American forces caused “great damage” to Iranian targets after three US naval destroyers reportedly came under attack.
“There was no damage done to the three Destroyers, but great damage done to the Iranian attackers,” Trump stated, adding that drones were falling “like a butterfly dropping to its grave!”
The US president further warned, “We’ll knock them out a lot harder, and a lot more violently, in the future, if they don’t get their Deal signed, FAST!”
At the same time, Iran’s Khatam Al Anbiya Central Headquarters accused the United States of violating the ceasefire in the ongoing Middle East conflict by targeting Iranian vessels near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the Iranian military statement broadcast on state television, US forces allegedly attacked an Iranian oil tanker traveling from the Jask coastal region toward the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also claimed another vessel entering the waterway near Fujairah port in the United Arab Emirates came under attack.
Iranian authorities further alleged that the United States conducted additional strikes in southern areas “in cooperation with some countries in the region.”
The statement said Iranian forces “immediately and in retaliation attacked American military vessels” following the incidents.
The latest exchange has intensified tensions in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, a major global shipping and energy route, while diplomatic uncertainty between Washington and Tehran continues.
