Iran Condemns UAE–Israel Coordination After Netanyahu’s Reported Wartime Meeting with UAE Leadership
Iran has strongly reacted to revelations surrounding a reported wartime visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), warning that any cooperation with Israel against Iran is “unforgivable.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded on social media platform X after Netanyahu disclosed details of his trip, which allegedly took place following the escalation of hostilities involving Iran and Israel.
According to reports from Netanyahu’s office, the Israeli leader met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the visit, which was said to have occurred shortly after the outbreak of military tensions.
Araghchi stated:
“Netanyahu has now publicly revealed what Iran‘s security services long ago conveyed to our leadership,”
He further warned:
“Enmity with the Great People of Iran is a foolish gamble. Collusion with Israel in doing so: unforgivable,”
He also added a stern message:
“Those colluding with Israel to sow division will be held to account.”
A source cited by Reuters claimed that the meeting between Netanyahu and UAE leadership took place on March 26 in Al Ain, near the Oman border, and lasted several hours.
The reports come amid broader allegations of coordination between Israel and regional partners during strikes involving Iran, as well as claims of covert operations and logistical support linked to U.S. military presence across Gulf states.
The situation has intensified diplomatic tensions in the region, with Iran warning neighboring countries against allowing their territories to be used for operations it considers hostile. Tehran has also stated that such cooperation ultimately increases insecurity across the region rather than preventing it.
