KP people reject extremist narrative of Fitna al-Khawarij
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s people have strongly rejected the misleading narrative of “Fitna Al-Khawarij,” showing growing public opposition to extremist groups in the region.
According to reports, citizens in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who are frustrated with terrorism, have made a clear decision to distance themselves from militants and have openly expressed full support for the Pakistan Army and state institutions.
In a notable development from Bannu, local resident Wazir Iqbal publicly announced complete disassociation from his son, Shakirullah, who is allegedly involved in extremist activities.
During a press conference at the Bannu Press Club, he stated that his family has no connection with Shakirullah’s actions or any anti-state activities.
He said that his son left home about six months ago and later became involved in anti-state operations. Despite all efforts, including sending relatives to bring him back, he did not return.
Wazir Iqbal added that the family fully supports state institutions, the Pakistan Army, and the government of Pakistan, and is ready to cooperate in every possible way.
Reports suggest that public rejection of extremist ideology is increasing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the narrative of militant groups is losing influence among local communities.
