Momina Iqbal seeks protection, requests intervention from Maryam Nawaz

Pakistani Showbiz well-known personality Momina Iqbal calls out Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and appeal to take an action against an individual associated to PML-N.

The actress revealed that she has been facing online harassment cyberbullying, and death threats for a long time.

Momina shared the message on social media, and claimed by an individual associated to PML-N, she and her family have been subjected to severe mental stress and fear

In her Instagram story, Momina Iqbal revealed that she has nonstop been facing online harassment, mental torture, and threats from a person linked to a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA. As per her statement, she filed multiple complaints with the NCCIA, FIA, and Punjab Police, but no proper action was taken due to political influence.

Momina more added that rather than being served justice, her complaints were allegedly suppressed. As she was allegedly urged by influential circles to keep quiet. She further added that her family also began facing serious threats when she pursue legal action.

The actress seeking for her family protection and demanded that the concerned departments promptly conduct an unbiased inquiry. And initiate strict legal proceedings against the culprits. Momina also notify that if this matter still be ignored, she will hold a press conference and present all evidence before the public.

The actress also urged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to look into the issue and guarantee and ensure impartial action under the law. She hoped that anyone attempting to misuse authority or block justice would face responsibility without refinement.

As she posted her statement, numerous of people, her fans and followers, expressed unity with the actress urging government institutions and relevant authorities to take immediate action and ensure protection for women against harassment and threats.
