Sindh govt announces dates for matric and inter exam results

KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced the schedule for the release of matriculation and intermediate examination results across the province.

The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo. The meeting was attended by senior education officials and chairpersons of educational boards from across Sindh.

According to the announced schedule, matriculation results will be released by July 10, while intermediate results will be announced by July 31.

Officials said the decision aims to help students complete the admission process for colleges and universities on time.

During the meeting, educational boards reviewed the annual matric and intermediate examinations held in different divisions of the province and presented reports on the examination process.

The minister said the government would continue supporting educational boards to ensure transparency, merit, and improvements in the examination system.

Board officials also informed the meeting that Grade 9 and Grade 11 results are expected to be announced by August 31.

Meanwhile, authorities cancelled examination duties of teams that showed poor performance during exams in the Sukkur division.

Universities Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch said several cases were registered against individuals for violating Section 144 restrictions during examinations in Karachi.

Karachi Educational Board Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho informed the meeting that intermediate examinations in the city are scheduled to conclude on June 15.
