Iran confirms ongoing talks with US through Pakistan to reach possible deal
Amir Saeed Ervani Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said that through Pakistan, Iran and the United States are still engaged in talks aimed at reaching a possible agreement.
After UN Security Council meeting on Afghanistan, Amir Saeed Ervani speaking to reporters Tehran and Washington are still in the process of exchanging proposals and suggestions.
He more added Iran and the US are relying on Pakistan to communicate and discuss major issues in hopes of reaching a mutually acceptable deal.
He added that although no agreement has been finalized, negotiations are continuing to advance the process.
According to him, the goal of the talks is to narrowing gaps and building a system both sides can accept. He added that Pakistan is serving a supportive role by facilitating contact between Iran and the United States.
As per experts’ statement, if diplomacy continues, it could ease regional tensions and promote stability. International observers have also noticed Pakistan’s role in supporting communication
