AJK Citizens Call Banned Joint Action Committee a ‘Disruptive Group’

15 June, 2026 16:32

Citizens of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have strongly rejected the banned Joint Action Committee, calling it a disruptive and anti-peace group.

According to local residents, the organization has been working against peace and unity in the region, and its misleading agenda has already been rejected by all segments of society.

People from different walks of life say that the activities of the group are negatively affecting daily wage workers, students, labourers, and other communities across Azad Kashmir.

Residents stated that the banned Joint Action Committee has become a symbol of unrest and lawlessness in the region. They added that repeated threats of forced market closures have created serious problems for traders and ordinary citizens.

Some citizens said that those who claim to fight for public rights have, in reality, caused severe economic damage to poor people.

They further explained that unplanned and irresponsible protests have caused the greatest harm to labourers, street vendors, and small shopkeepers, who depend on daily income.

According to locals, the group’s actions have now clearly exposed its disruptive and harmful agenda.

The people of Azad Kashmir also expressed full support for law enforcement agencies, saying they stand with authorities to maintain peace and stability in the region.

They demanded immediate and strict legal action against those involved in illegal activities aimed at disturbing peace and unity.

Citizens emphasized that the widespread rejection of the group shows that the people of Kashmir fully support the official state position and want peace and stability above all.
