Honor X70 Pro Max launched with 8,560mAh battery – check prices

Honor has quietly launched the Honor X70 Pro Max in China ahead of the expected debut of the X80 Pro Max next week.

The new smartphone comes with a 6.79-inch AMOLED display featuring a resolution of 2640×1200 pixels. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling and gaming. The screen can reach up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness and has slim bezels for a modern design.

The Honor X70 Pro Max is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Enhanced processor along with an Adreno 810 GPU. It offers 8GB RAM and storage options of up to 512GB. The device runs on Android 16-based MagicOS 10.0.

For photography, the phone features a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

One of the biggest highlights of the device is its massive 8,560mAh battery. It supports 90W fast charging, allowing users to charge the phone quickly and enjoy longer usage time.

The smartphone also includes several extra features such as an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, dual speakers, an infrared blaster, and a fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port.

The Honor X70 Pro Max is available in Bamboo Green, Phantom Purple, Phantom Night Black, and Sunburst Gold colors.

The starting price of the 8GB + 256GB model is CNY 1,999 (around $295), while the 8GB + 512GB variant costs CNY 2,399 (around $355).

Meanwhile, Honor is preparing to launch the X80 Pro Max on June 22. The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a huge 11,000mAh battery, which could set a new record for battery capacity in the series.
