Iranian Firm Develops Rapid Gas Detection Kits CEO Says

Iranian researchers at a knowledge-based company have developed rapid gas detection kits capable of identifying the type and concentration of hazardous gases within seconds, according to the company’s chief executive. The firm claims the development places Iran alongside Germany and Japan as one of the few producers of the advanced technology globally.

Company CEO Mohammad Javad Kargar said the firm specializes in designing and manufacturing analytical instruments and chemical materials used in the oil, gas, petrochemical, water and wastewater, environmental, and mining sectors. He added that the company has been active in the field for around a decade.

Kargar also noted that the company produces a range of equipment, including spectrophotometers, online COD analyzers, portable spectrophotometers, and related chemical reagents and consumables used in these systems. He said the goal is to expand domestic production capacity for advanced industrial and environmental monitoring technologies.
