Iranian Foreign Ministry Vows to Continue Martyred Khamenei’s Foreign Policy Legacy

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has said it will continue to pursue what it described as the principles of dignity and independence in foreign policy, in line with the legacy of the Martyred Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
In a statement issued on Saturday as public funeral ceremonies began in Tehran, the ministry said Iran would remain committed to what it called Khamenei’s guidance on safeguarding national sovereignty, power, and vigilance against external pressure. It added that Iran’s foreign policy would continue along the path shaped by his leadership.
The statement also referred to Khamenei’s martyrdom during what it described as a US-Israeli military action in February, calling it a turning point in Iran’s modern history. It said Iran, along with “freedom-seeking nations,” would continue to seek accountability for those it holds responsible, although the claims have not been independently verified.
