Israeli Minister Confirms Iron Dome Deployment to UAE During Iran War

An Israeli cabinet minister has confirmed that an Iron Dome air defense battery was deployed to the United Arab Emirates during the recent US-Israeli war against Iran. Transportation Minister Miri Regev made the remarks in an interview with Israeli military radio Galei Tzahal, according to a report by The Times of Israel.

Regev, a former spokesperson for the Israeli military, said the UAE has Israel’s support in addressing missile threats. “The UAE has realized that ballistic missiles are one of the biggest problems, and they enjoy our support,” she said, describing the deployment as part of broader security cooperation between the two sides.

The remarks mark the first public confirmation by a senior Israeli official that an Iron Dome battery was sent to the UAE during the conflict. Prior to Regev’s statement, US media, citing Israeli sources, had reported that Israel deployed the air defense system along with personnel to operate it during the early stages of the war with Iran.
