Iran Navy Chief Says “Axis of Resistance” Now Transcends Borders After Khamenei’s Martyrdom

Iran’s top naval commander has said the “Axis of Resistance” is no longer limited by geography and warned that Israel and the United States will face a united Islamic front following the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Rear Admiral Shahram Irani made the remarks in an interview with Yemen’s Al Masirah television.

Irani said supporters of the late Leader have gathered to reaffirm unity and the principles they learned from his teachings, describing the movement as a broader regional and ideological alliance. He added that resistance is no longer confined to a single country, arguing that adversaries are now confronting what he called a wider Islamic nation and resistance front.

Warning Israel and its allies, Irani said they should expect retaliation from fighters seeking to avenge those killed during the US-Israeli war against Iran. He described the anticipated response as a “crushing blow,” saying it would demonstrate the strength and reach of the resistance movement.
