2026 Emmy Awards Nominations: The Pitt Leads with 26 Nods, Hacks Makes History

78^th Emmy Awards nomination have been announced, and the biggest winner of this year is the medical drama “The Pitt” almost 26 nominations this series earned, which making it the most nominated show of the 2026 Emmy Awards.

Not only this, the comedy series also shines in the nomination, Hack created history by getting 24 nominations for its fifth and final season. In a single year in Emmy history, it became the most nominated comedy series. Marking a major achievement for the award- winning show.

Apple TV+ also performed impressively, celebrated a successful awards season as Widow’s Bay picked up 19 Emmy nominations and Pluribus receiving 18. Several other shows also made a strong impact, include Beef with 16 nominations, DTF St. Louis receiving 13, while Saturday Night Live and Spider-Noir received 11 nominations each.

For Outstanding Drama Series, the nominees are, The Pitt, The Diplomat, The Gilded Age, Paradise, Pluribus, Slow Horses, Your Friends & Neighbors, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are among the nominees for Outstanding Drama Series.

Outstanding Comedy Series category features Hacks, The Bear, Abbott Elementary, Shrinking, Only Murders in the Building, Nobody Wants This, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, and Widow’s Bay.

Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series category features Beef, All Her Fault, The Beast in Me, DTF St. Louis, and Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette.

2026 Emmy nominations were mainly remarkable for Dancing with the Stars held its first Emmy nomination in 10 years in the Outstanding Reality Competition Program category.

On September 14 the 78^th Emmy Awards winner will be announced at the peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Mariska Hargitay will be the host of the event, who is also nominated this year for directing the documentary My Mom Jayne: A Film By Mariska Hargitay.
