Iran Says Armed Forces Remain on High Alert to Protect National Security

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, says the country’s armed forces remain on constant alert across Iran’s coasts, islands, borders, and other sensitive locations, stressing that they are closely monitoring potential threats to safeguard national security. The remarks were made in a message posted on his X account on Saturday.

Baghaei said that despite the intense summer heat, military personnel stationed in key operational areas continue to monitor what he described as enemy movements with vigilance. He praised the armed forces for their dedication, saying they are committed to maintaining security and stability across the country.

The spokesman also commended the service of military personnel deployed in sensitive regions, stating that they remain focused on protecting Iran’s territorial integrity and national security. His comments come amid heightened regional tensions and continued security concerns in the Middle East.
