Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the provincial government’s effective policies, development projects, and investor-friendly measures are helping Sindh become a gateway for economic growth and investment.
He said ongoing and planned mega projects will build modern infrastructure and create new opportunities for jobs, industry, trade, and better public services.
Sharjeel Memon said the Sindh government is working to make the province modern, prosperous, and a major destination for local and foreign investment. He added that transparent governance, modern policies, a one-window facility, and a business-friendly environment have helped restore investors’ confidence.
He said the government is taking practical steps to strengthen Sindh’s economy, increase exports, and promote industrial activity.
According to Sharjeel Memon, major projects including the S-III Sewerage Project, Dhabeji Special Economic Zone, S-Bus, and a modern smart surveillance system will play an important role in the province’s development.
He said the Sindh government is also working on a comprehensive development package worth more than Rs100 billion for Karachi. The package includes improvements to roads, bridges, water supply, sewerage, rainwater drainage, and other urban infrastructure.
Sharjeel Memon said the proposed Medical City project will help make Sindh a modern healthcare hub by providing world-class medical facilities, research opportunities, and new investment.
He added that new industrial zones and investment clusters will support local industries, attract fresh investment, and boost economic activity across the province.
He said more than Rs109 billion worth of development projects are being carried out through public-private partnerships, which will contribute to economic growth, employment, investment, and public welfare.
Sharjeel Memon said the Pakistan Peoples Party government believes in delivering results rather than making promises, adding that Sindh is moving towards greater development, investment, and prosperity and will play a stronger role in Pakistan’s economy in the coming years.
